1983 - Peter King - 10-3 PM - 62 WHEN
Happy Halloween - When this photo was taken the station was having their annual halloween costume competition. Peter is shown in the station's on-air studio seated before a Pacific Recorders Stereo BMX-22 control board.
Peter's fellow air personalities sometimes used to refer to him on-air as "P.U. It wasn't that Peter had an odor problem, but a nickname given him by former midday man, Joe "wee wee" Gallagher who shortened, "Peter Ulysses" to "P.U." The rest of the air staff at the time found "P.U." conveniently easy to use....much to the chagrin of "The Boss." Today Peter lives in Orlando with his wife Lisa and can often be heard reporting on CBS Radio.
