If ever there was a radio station where the fun never seemed to stop, it was 62 WHEN.  If you were a regular listener, you knew this as fact.  It was this highly creative and entertaining presentation that listeners far and wide grew to love and make part of their day...every day. 62 WHEN Radio under the leadership of such GM's as John Patton, Bud Stiker, and Bob Carolin enjoyed national recognition for their station's effort and great success during the 70's and well into the 80's.   It was during this time "The Syracuse Entertainer"  truly became  the station many competing program directors and station managers loved to hate.

While "fun" was always part of the daily fare on the air at 62 WHEN, lots of fun stuff also was going on behind the scenes as well.  The "Blast from the Past" trivia quiz covers a little station history from both on-air and behind the scenes.  Thus, as a listener, you may not experience the same laughter level as did the many station employees who personally experienced these hijinx.
